I am currently living in Virginia Beach, Virginia after finishing up my double major in Media Arts & Design with a concentration in Digital Video and a Communication Studies degree in Public Relations at James Madison University. My career at JMU gave me a background in media both in the classroom as well as opportunities in the field. My Media Arts degree has taught me the necessary practical skills in creating media through classes in writing, videography, editing, graphic design, web design, and photography, while my Public Relations degree has reinforced the underlining principles and theories of persuasion and communicating a message to an audience. I applied these lessons throughout my college career by getting jobs with professional businesses and organizations which can be cited in the portfolio area of this webpage.
